Requirements and Selection Process

 

Please read Studio D Artist requirements prior to submitting your information — please do not submit if you do not agree to requirements.

If you are selected, Studio D Fine Art will showcase your work in a variety of ways, including:

  • 25-page dedicated section within Studio D website you can refer clients to!
    • Artist home page
    • 20 images showcasing your work - each piece displayed on a separate page with details (title, dimensions, medium, price, special notes as applicable) Includes moderate preparation or “fixing” of your supplied images as necessary for web suitability and appeal.
    • Artist's Bio
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    • Artist’s Statement
  • Promotion to:
    • Design houses, Architects
    • Local exhibitions
    • Professionals such as Doctors, Attorneys, etc
  • Internet Marketing
  • Sales handled for you worldwide

Website setup fee is $350.00—minimal compared to setting up a website of your own.

Additional services available for additional fee, as desired or needed:

  • Professional photography of your artwork
  • Scanning of your 35mm slides, prints of artwork + preparation for Web
  • Assistance writing your CV, Bio, Artist’s Statement
  • Design services: Brochure, postcards, flyers etc. to further promote your artwork

Selection Process

Selection by a committee of individuals ranging in status from scholars to seasoned critics

Our goal is to have a wide range of media and genres, with a minimum of overlaps – so that each artist may stand out as unique 

Artist Requirements

 If you are selected, we require:

  1. A min. of 20 pieces of art to  post on website
  2. Information about pieces: dimensions , medium, title, price; optional but desirable: brief statement about background, etc of the piece
  3. Electronic Images of your artwork on CD-ROM or DVD-ROM.  General specifications are on the artwork upload page.
  4. Commitment to adhere to lead time and shipping policies
  5. A signed Studio D Agreement
  6. Website setup fee 

Note: in the interest of making the best possible impression on your behalf, we may reject some images and require that you provide different or better images of some pieces - or we can arrange professional photography at a separate charge if you wish.
